FTL - 3/5 to 3/10 - My Week In GameDev

Continuing off last week's navigation update, this week the player can actually use the navigation to get places.

Started off the week a bit lighter however and played with some logo tests. I know eventually I want to pay an artist to redo probably all of the graphics, but for now I'm pretty happy with how this one truned out.

Because motion and timing are important in the FTL jump I decided to storyboard it out before doing any work.

Each time I implemented one of the panels on the storyboard I would check it off as a little indicator of progress.

And there we go! The player can now start traveling the galaxy.

Next week I plan to start working on the dialog system so that ships can do more than just shoot at each other.
